For the past nine years these races have attracted the likes of World Champions, National Team members, future Junior National Champions, and competitors of all paces and abilities from across North America. The Cock-A-Doodle-Shoe has something for everyone whether it’s the beautiful scenery or the fun and balanced (sometimes challenging – looking at you 2019) course. 2021 and 2022 might look a bit different due to COVID-19 but the racing will still be great!

Due to the ongoing success of our kid’s event we will be holding a 8th annual 1/2 mile run for kids! There will be a very limited number of loaner shoes available courtesy of the Town of Plattsburgh Parks and Recreation Department. Please preregister and contact us to reserve a pair.

Just like the last few years our Kid’s Snowshoe Scramble has a super low entry fee of $0! Thats right. Fun for the whole family just got a boost in the pocket book.

LOANER SNOWSHOES by Dion Snowshoes and The Town of Plattsburgh Parks and Recreation Department will have limited availability and participants requiring loaners should consider contacting us in advance to reserve a pair.

8:00 AM – 9:45 AM Day-of Registration. Please arrive with enough time to pick up your number and register if you have not done so in advance. All races will start promptly at their scheduled times

10:00 AM Kid’s Snowshoe Scramble 1/2 Mile

10:30 AM The Cock-A-Doodle-Shoe 10K / 5K
